"Time Warp Wives"

While the women in Time Warp Wives: Meet the women who really do live in the past seem to look a bit more like pinups than home ec teachers, and they clearly have some money to invest in their homes, the article is well worth a read:

The credit crunch, a knife crime epidemic - no wonder so many of us are sick of the 21st century. Most of us just grumble, but some women have taken radical action to escape what they see as the soulless grind of modern life. Meet the 'Time Warp Wives', who believe that life, especially marriage, was far more straightforward in the Thirties, Forties and Fifties.

I loved reading this article, thanks for sharing it, I would love to live in the past, but don't see my hubby playing along, or me surviving. I am making an apron though for much less than the insporation i saw. I want to make a whole wardrobe of them. I love this site since I found it looking for apron rules. Scrubbing the floor is a hard one, but I could use the workout ;-)
